Among the Board of members can be found a vast array of housing and economic development experience, key links to public and private resources, and individuals with strong commitments to and records of achievements within South Dallas.

- Rev. Donald Parish, Sr. President
Rev. Donald Parish, Sr. is President of the SouthFair Board of Directors. He is also the pastor of the True Lee Baptist Church located in South Dallas/Fair Park. He is very involved in the community and serves on numerous boards. He is a member of the Bank of America Advisory Committee for its Neighborhood Program in South Dallas/Fair Park. He is a lifetime resident of Dallas, and spent much of his childhood in the South Dallas/Fair Park area. Rev. Parish has served on the Board for 9 years.

- Theodore Lawe Vice President
Theodore Lawe is the Vice President of the SouthFair Board of Directors. Mr. Lawe is also the President/Operations Manager for Maxwell Enterprise Limited, an economic development-consulting firm based in the Dallas metroplex. Mr. Lawe has over 25 years of experience in both the public and private sectors as a business owner and government official. He has managed budgets up to $30 million. Mr. Lawe has served on the Board for 5 years.

- Dr. Harry Robinson Secretary of the Board of Director
Dr. Harry Robinson is the Secretary of the SouthFair Board of Directors. He is also the Director of the African American Museum of Life and Culture located in Fair Park. He is a resident of South Dallas/Fair Park and serves on numerous boards in the community and the neighborhood. He has excellent fund raising and economic development experience. He spearheaded the effort to raise $6 million needed to construct the African American Museum. Dr. Robinson has served on the Board for 8 years.

- Marie Booker - Treasurer
Marie Booker is the Treasurer of the SouthFair Board of Directors. She is also an Insurance Agent for the State Farm Insurance Co. located in the South Dallas/Fair Park area. Ms. Booker has participated in an intern summer work program with the two local high schools in South Dallas/Fair Park. (Madison and Lincoln High Schools) She has also worked as a tutor for the Urban Academy Ministries volunteered to assist with the crime prevention program at the Eban Village Apartment Association. She is a member of the Clean South Dallas campaign, Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce and the NAACP. She has worked with various other charitable organizations. Ms. Booker has served on the Board for 4 years.

- Alicia Allen - Board Member
Alicia Allen is a Banker and former Vice President of Leased Housing for the Dallas Housing Authority. She was responsible for the Section 8 housing assistance program and landlord services. She is also a former Vice President with a major lending institution and had regional responsibility for more than 20 branches. Ms. Allen has served on the Board for 8 years.

- Roy Andy - Board Member
Roy Andy is Distributions Supervisor of Mail Processing. He is also the PTA president of the Lincoln High School, Vice President of the Marching Band, and the President of the Booster Club and a number of other activities. He is the former PTA president of Billy E. Dade Learning Center. Mr. Andy is very active in the South Dallas/ Fair Park Community and in the school system. He works very closely with various programs implemented through the South Dallas Weed and Seed program. He also works very hard in assisting with developing Eban Villages social programs, athletic activities, and after-school programs. Mr. Andy has served on the Board for 5 years.

- Virgie Grant Brooks - Board Member
Virgie Grant Brooks is a Principal in the Dallas office of Financial Services Specialists. She is the consultant for a variety of businesses entities in connection with asset-based financing, business acquisitions, debt and equity financing employment and non-competition agreements, and other contract matters. Mrs. Grant-Brooks certifications and affiliations include: US Treasury Department Federal Thrift Regulator Certification, American Bar Association and American Society of International Law. Ms. Brooks has served on the Board 2 years.

- Andrew Felder - Board Member
Andrew Felder is the Real Estate Marketing Director/Vice President of Aon Risk Services in Dallas. Mr. Felder has over 23 years experience in business operations, management, law, contract negotiations, leasing and employment practices. He is also associated with numerous organizations including but not limited to, The National Multi Housing Council (NMHC), Building Owners and Mangers Association (BOMA), and National Council of the Multifamily Housing Industry (NCMHI). Mr. Felder has served on the Board for 4 years.

- James Mertz, Jr. - Board Member
James Mertz, Jr. is currently Vice President and Division Partner at Thompson Realty and a results-driven professional with cross-functional management experience. Led profitable real estate operations for private and public companies. He is a team-building leader with strong project management, and innovative problem solving and communication skills. Mr. Mertz was previously the Director of Cushman & Wakefield of Texas where he was responsible for all property management, leasing, and facility management functions, supervised and directed a team in excess of 100 professional. Mr. Mertz has served on the Board for 3 years.
